DESCRIPTION: These suspenders are rugged, practical, and ready for wear.  They are nice enough for a night out on the town or just around the farm for working. The width is 1.5″ which is a standard width. They are made from thick (8-9 oz) leather sourced right here in the USA.  Each of the front straps are adjustable using a buckle.  There are multiple adjustment holes so you can get that perfect fit.  The ends are made for button hole attachment to your trowsers.  D-Rings are also included on the front straps as seen in the pictures. All leather used is sourced from Hermann Oak Tannery, in St. Louis, Missouri…some of the finest leather you can find.  It is veg-tanned. Measuring for the length of your Suspenders : See the diagram below for how to measure your current suspenders.  If you don’t have suspenders currently, measure from the top of your pants in front, then over your shoulder to the top of your pants in the back.  There will be several adjustment holes. This way it will accommodate different thicknesses of clothing (or if one’s waist grows). Color Choice: Light Brown Walnut (as pictured) Black Protecting one’s Suspenders: These suspenders will last one a lifetime and our guarantee is that it will last 100 years (unless it’s abused). To maintain the suspenders, once every 6-months / year, apply some waterproofing compound to protect it from the elements.  If you want to maintain the firmness of the suspenders, do NOT use mink oil, as it will soften the leather and cause it do bend much easier.   If you have questions, please reach out.  We are always glad to have conversations with potential customers.
